Fall Break Blogging Challenge #1

Well hello my friends-

I hope that you have enjoyed the beginning of our fall break. I spent the first day of the break doing what my family calls a "Pajama Day". Basically I was in my pajamas all day! I read a little, cooked a little, watched some TV, and ended the day with a movie (or two-since I didn't have to get up early the next day).

Today I was a bit more productive but spent a great deal of time reading. I was reading a book that was just getting so good that I couldn't stop. I kept telling myself "one more chapter" but as soon as I finished that "one more chapter" I HAD to read another one! Has that ever happened to you? When I finished the book I felt like I wanted to stay with the characters, in the story, a little longer. I had wished their was a sequel or a movie so that I could keep stay with the characters a little longer- similar to the way I felt when we finished Stone Fox. I was changed by this book and the characters just like we all were when we read the last chapter of Stone Fox.

That got me wondering- What book are you currently reading? Are you enjoying it? What makes it a good book?

Can't wait to check out your responses!

  1. I'm currently reading the book "Justin Case".And it is a very good book because other than a book telling about an adventure or something like that its telling the reader (me) about his life in 3rd grade and how its going, and the same reason that I just said that makes it a good book.

    1. I also love the Justin Case books, did you know that there are more books in the series. One is called "Rules, Tools, and Maybe a Bully" and there is a Summer themed one called- "Shells, Smells, and the Horrible Flip-Flops of Doom". If you are enjoying the first book in this series I HIGHLY recommend the others.

    1. A few of my favorite books we will read this year- so I'm not going to give away my secret favorites just yet! However, I do LOVE the Harry Potter series. The books take you to a magical place and are filled with great characters, humor, and adventure. They are definitely worth reading when you get a little bit older.

My favorite Goosebumps book is-Beware the Snowman as it is a little bit Halloween and a little bit Christmas! Have you read that book yet?
