Well, it seems as if our three day President's Weekend has turned into a four day weekend! Today I'm busy doing some things I should have worked on over the weekend, but didn't. On my list of "to-dos" is continue recording audio for Sisters Grimm book #3, check your Bank of Font project ledgers, a little laundry, just to name a few.
I didn't get a great deal done this weekend because I was too busy having some fun. On Saturday I hosted a movie night at my house entitled "Long Lost Disney Films", we had chocolate fondue and watched the original "The Shaggy Dog", Julia's pick. On Sunday we braved the snow and went to the Frozen Sing-A-Long in Atlantic Highlands which was fun. Any day that can start with a Disney movie and popcorn is ok in my book. Then I had some family over to celebrate the "February Birthdays" in my family (there are three) and we ended the evening with a game night which is always a blast. I spent my Monday reading and watching TV and trying to get motivated to get some things done but the forecast for snow made me pretty certain that I would have today off as well. It's tough to get things done when you know you have more time.

My four day weekend consisted a whole lot of nothing. I really did just sleep in and do some homework and that was basically it. On Friday you all know that I was out sick but of course Saturday was the day that I was feeling like I could go back to school but it was Saturday! I usually sleep over my aunts house on the weekends but my Mom just wanted to keep me home just in case. My cold wasn't fully gone. Saturday was me waking up at 12:30 and just sitting around all day Sunday was me just watching ABC Family all day with there fun day weekend and my snow day was filled with Wreck it Ralph, Hunger games, and Pitch Perfect. It sounds pretty dull but who can resist a good day full of movies. Playing in the snow didn't really appeal to me today but I'm sure that there will be many more snow days! I hope you guys had a nice snow day!

Everybody loves a good movie! And who doesn't love the Hunger Games? There amazing books! And movies. I also love Pitch perfect, and me and some people from Mrs.Gembarski's class are going to see Pitch Perfect 2 the first day it comes out!
DeleteWhat I did on this very long break was that I had some sleepovers. One of the things I did was I was playing man hunt in my room so we closed all doors and shut all lights and did our thing. After that crazy nonsense I did my best to fit in the reading to build my stamina. The whole break I felt like I couldint breath through my nose at all. That didn't feel good at all if you ask me. But I faught back the sickness and went outside for a great snow day with my dog. We played and I fell and played some more and I still fell. That's what I did! Hope you guys had a snowy snow day!

DeleteYep a great four day weekend to enjoy inside or out side it is like Christmas break, snow, cold, fireplace. I like it it was fun the first day I went to Great Wolf loge for a day sadly evert room was tooken but at lest we got there if there was rooms we would get a room and stay.

DeleteAs many of you should know, because of the fantastic snow last night, instead of a 3 day weekend it's a 4 day weekend! How cool is that? Well anyways i spent weekend with a lot of friends! On Saturday I slept over my friend Bella's house! We had so my h fun! We played Manhunt, watched The Conjuring, and of course shared so Valentines Cards with each other. We also went outside in the snow and stunted in the snow!! Of course I fell into the snow but it was so cold but so enjoyable. On Sunday I had 2 friends sleep over my house and they were Mary, and Bella! We had so much fun too. We played a bunch of games and made videos! We talked about books and school and how we like school. On Sunday we also had our dance rehearsal so we had to put makeup on and our costumes which wasn't very fun. And on Sunday the first thing I did was go into the beautiful shiny snow! I went in it because I couldn't resist building a snowman and having fun! After taht we had some hot chocolate and I sat down and decided to read The Hunger Games book 2: Catching Fire. By the way it's a very extraordinary book and I recommend it. On Tuesday, the last day of break, I also went into the snow because the snow got deeper. Although I couldn't make a snowman because the snow was to light. I also bright my dog bear out into the snow because he over playing in it. My dog tricked me a bunch of times because when we were playing catch everytime I tried to get the ball from him he would run away and I would fall face first in the snow! Burrrrrr! Well that's as my amazing 4 day weekend! Bloggers, go and Blog on!
ReplyDeleteOn my four day weekend I had one of the best weekend ever at home I started off with a sleepover Saturday then I woke up at 6 and went to a wrestling tournament in Wood bridge in a mini blizzard. I won 1st in my tournament and then as soon as I got home I went out snowboarding for hours! Once it was 9 on Sunday we started a bond fire the feel like temperature was -6! But my cousins and I weren't stopped we stayed outside on Sunday until about 10:30! Then Monday was another day of sledding and snowboarding straight through all day some wipe outs some perfect. My cousins and I were outside from 10am to 6:30pm on Monday straight through! Then today was another day of sledding after about 2hrs my cousins and I went inside to see what the rest of my cousins were doing my cousin Jordan was making chocolate covered Raspberries, Strawberrys, Oranges, Bananas, and some Pretzels! Once we went back out snowboarding I was going down a very big hill and then I hit a jump I was 3 feet off the ground on my board according to my cousins! Then to end off the day my cousin was going down a small hill and landed on his wrist and is getting an ex-ray :( he jumped so high he could have jumped over me standing up and that's how I ended off my weekend it was so great until my cousin falling. That sounds awesome Robert well except for the wrist thing! I've always wanted to go snowboarding but never got the chance but I'm sure that sledding is really more my speed! It sounds like you have had a very active and exiting weekend and that you have a LOT of energy! I could not imagine my weekend being so hectic but still claps for you! hope your cousins feel ok!
ReplyDeleteMy four day weekend was short and simple. Almost all four days I sat on the couch and had a Brain Games marathon, because trust me once you watch one episode of brain games you can't stop. Its interesting because you learn how you brain reacts to certain things like anger or happiness and they do tests on people to see their reactions and why there brain reacts like that. Also I had a lot of sleeping in and late nights. So over all my four day weekend was me being very lazy.( Sometimes its nice to do nothing but sleep and watch TV).

DeleteThat sounds like a fun and nice, relaxing four day weekend! But for me it would be to lazy for me because I can never just sit around for four days being lazy. I can never do that because I have so much sports to do and so much competitions to go to! although i wish I could do that because I could relax from the sport's that i do because I could relax myself and that next following days I could be ready and set to go! That's why i like vacations because you get to relax your muscles and you'll be ready and set to go those next following days!
