Christmas Time is Here...

Hello my friends!

Although I am enjoying the Winter Break (sleeping in, late nights, movies-what's not to love) I am missing all my Room #20 friends. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying the break. Don't forget about your Marshmallow Reading Challenge and sharing pictures of you completing the challenges.

For this post, what have you been up to?

Here's what I've been up to:

My family came over and we spent Christmas Day in our Olaf PJs.
(Let it Go Joseph!)

My dog Copper enjoyed her Mickey Christmas Sweater

I took my brother, cousin, and friends for a ride to the PNC Arts Center to
check out their Holiday display (hot chocolate was a must). 

We also went to the Szotak Christmas Spectacular and took an
Anna and Elsa Selfie and really enjoyed the display.

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!

One of my favorite parts of the Holiday Season is Christmas music.  I love driving to and home from work listening to Christmas Carols in the car.  My iPod alarm that wakes me each morning now plays Christmas Carols and my Spotify is an only Christmas Carols theme this time of year.  

There are some songs where I just LOOOOOOOOOVE listening to a strong singer belt out the lyrics, like the one below.

Other songs are just fun to sing along with, like the one below. 

And others just bring back good memories, like the one below.

Christmas music always puts me in a good mood and I break out the Holiday songs right after Halloween and they don't go away until I am writing out my Valentine Cards.

Holiday Specials, Cartoons, and Movies-OH MY!

Hello Room #20 Friends-

I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  I've been busy with lots of Holiday Preparations.  The Hogwarts Express is currently circling underneath my Christmas Tree and some of the present I bought have been wrapped.  I have had Holiday TV shows and Movies on all weekend. They really help to put me in the Holiday Spirit and turn Holiday Chores into Holiday Merriment. 

This got me thinking...

What Holiday movie, special, cartoon, etc. is your ABSOLUTE FAVORITE that you love to watch year after year?

Holiday Traditions

I don't know about you, but this is my FAVORITE time of year! I love all the festivities that surround the holidays.  There are many silly and FUN traditions in the Font Family like...

-New Christmas Eve Pajamas and watching a holiday movie
-The annual Trim-the-Tree party
-Stringing Popcorn to put around the tree

And Sooooo much more holiday fun!

This left me thinking- What Holiday Traditions do your look forward to this time of year?

Just one more chapter...

Walt Disney once said "There is more treasure in books than in all the Pirate's loot on Treasure Island". 

This quote got me thinking about all the books I have read so far in my life.  Books that made me laugh (HA!). Books that made me cry (pass the tissues please). Books I don't even remember reading (what?). Books that changed the way I see the world (WOW!). 

So my blogging friends I ask of you-

    If you had to pick only ONE book as your absolute favorite book which title would you choose and WHY is it your favorite?
